Heliaflor® Research News


At Biofach 2016 we presented our latest findings from various research projects at our lecture “Innovative Proteins”. The main focus was on our high quality sunflower protein Heliaflor®.
After a short introduction into the topic of proteins and characterization of our Heliaflor® including its special production process we addressed first of all the following issues:

Where and how is Heliaflor® applicable in the food sector?
What are the benefits of Heliaflor® in terms of technology and nutritional physiology?

We were able to present a wide application range based on our research work with universities.
Extensive analysis tests over several months have revealed further outstanding qualities of our Heliaflor®.
Meanwhile Innovative Proteins make a wide product range in our company. We were able to introduce in our presentation some novelties like our valuable Pumpkin Protein and Cranberry Protein besides plant proteins already known.



Winner of World Food Innovation Award

Already 3 hours after the last article appeared on the homepage, we learned

 that we received the price for -Best free-from Product-. However  we had to keep the news secret, until the award ceremony took place on 7 March in London.

The winners of the 2018 World Food Innovation Awards were announced at a special award ceremony at Hotelympia  in London on March 7th.

Elisabeth Klippel and Oliver Schenkmann from the AOT Team were awarded the prize in London.

The award ceremony was held as part of the Foodservice Show which takes place every two years.

The annual awards, organised by FoodBev Media and held in association with Hotelympia, celebrate all outstanding innovations in the global food industry.
