Heliaflor® 45

Heliaflor® is the world's first organic sunflower protein that is always available on the market.
The sunflower seeds from organic farming are carefully processed and supply with valuable protein. Particularly noteworthy is its emulsifying capacity and gentle nutty taste. Heliaflor® acts as binding agent, gives consistency and stabilizes. An amount of nearly 10 % glutamic acid supports its use in spicy food. In addition, it contains all the essential amino acids, B-vitamins, valuable polyphenols and is rich in fiber.

In comparison to other plant proteins we can guarantee for Heliaflor® a sufficient availability at any time. Sunflower produces the fourth-largest oil crop after oil and coconut palm and soy. It is grown worldwide and availability of the raw material can be ensured.

Heliaflor® contains at least 45 % protein in dry mass. It is obtained by a special cold pressing of peeled organic sunflower seeds and grounded finely. The special manufacturing process is patent pending. To guarantee constantly high product quality entire production process is accompanied by us in collaboration with accredited laboratories.

Origin of raw material is EU-agriculture. Production takes place in Germany. Heliaflor® is inherently non-GMO .

Compared to Heliaflor® 55 Heliaflor® 45 has a higher proportion of fat. Water binding capacity is stronger and fat binding ability a little weaker than in Heliaflor® 55. Heliaflor® 45 has a brownish color and an intense flavor. Therefore Heliaflor® 45 can be basically used in flavourful and darker colored products.

Both Heliaflor® variants can generally be combined with each other and also with other binders.
